Interested in wood working? Come learn about the Nevada Woodchucks, how you can get involved with the Special Interest Groups, and how they support local charities. Our own John Hasenau will lead the conversation! What we will learn/do: 1. Who the Nevada Woodchucks are and how they provide community support. 2. A visit with the elves who will be busy working on the toys project, an example of one of the Special Interest Groups (SIGS). The 6 Special Interest Groups are: • TOYS • SCROLL SAW • LATHE • TOOLS and TECHNIQUES • DIGITAL (router and laser) • CARVING 3. Shop tour and explanations We are limited to 15 people per session so please sign up early in order to save your spot! Session 1: 10 am – 11:30 am Session 2: 11:30 am – 1 pm
